ICICLE's 2016 autumn/winter series was newly launched. Ms. Yao Manli, deputy general manager of garments development at ICICLE, was invited to explain the design philosophy of ICICLE. Our design theme for this season was the “Silk Road.†Inspiration comes from various nomadic peoples on the Silk Road, including desert nomads and grassland nomads. We want to show a warm feeling, so that when women wear these clothes, there is a kind of wrapped feeling of security.
This year's overall design line is relatively long, will add some oversize profile. ICICLE has a total of five lines. Each line is suitable for different occasions and sources of inspiration. Each designer designs under the brand concept of MIDE IN EARTH at the top of ICICLE, but each person also has his own different interpretation. For example, the business travel line is inspired by the ancient Persian Empire this season. It borrows the feeling of weaving blankets and retains a more grainy touch when choosing materials.
