1. The formation process is different. Hetian jade seed material is produced from the middle and lower reaches of the river. The mountain material is brought into the river during the geological movement and is washed by the river for hundreds of millions of years. The stock of seed material is limited, while the mountain material has huge reserves. 2. The appearance is different. Hetian jade seed material generally has skin color and lenticels. Even if there is no skin color, even the fine pores can be found on the seed material.
