Hello everyone!
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know things might be a bit quieter around here for the remainder of August. Life has been quite eventful lately as we're currently in New York, busy packing up our studio and apartment in preparation for our move to Madrid. We'll be staying there for a while, at least a few more years, which is super exciting but also a huge undertaking.
Moving is never easy, especially when you've lived in one place for over two decades. Combine that with the fact that we're shipping everything across the ocean, and you can imagine how overwhelming it gets. We’ve got countless items to sort through, decide what to keep or discard, and then carefully pack away. Some things, like the display dress forms we use for Quilt Market or our trusty U.S. appliances, pose particular dilemmas. What should we do with them? It's a lot to handle, and I must admit, I'm feeling slightly swamped just thinking about it. Even though we've always tried to keep things minimal given our small apartment, running a business inevitably leads to an accumulation of stuff.
While we're focused on this big transition, we're also trying to enjoy our remaining time in New York. There are so many friends to catch up with, exhibitions to explore, and moments to savor before we head off to Spain. It’s bittersweet, but we're embracing the experience.

You’ll find people of all skill levels sharing their projects, and it’s incredibly inspiring. I try to pop in regularly to answer questions or share updates, and I’ll be even more active this fall.
