The fourth largest diamond: Aikesha

In a dark day in 1893, the South African Orange Free State Jaggers Fontan Diamond Mine was as busy as usual. A black miner was loading a car with a shovel, and suddenly a light flashed under his feet, and a stone caught his eye. He picked it up and saw that the stone was colorless, transparent, bright and slightly blue, and shaped like a small bread. The miner kept his heart ecstatic, and he knew that it was probably a huge gemstone diamond. He passed the foreman and personally handed the piece to the mine manager, which gave him a huge bounty and a horse.

This gemstone diamond weighs 995.20 carats and is named "noble". Until Cullinan discovered it in 1905, its weight has always been the world's first (or second), and now ranks fourth. “Noble” is also a fragment of a large crystal with a flat cleavage plane on one side. It is of excellent quality and is a colorless and transparent water-purifying diamond. It emits a light blue color due to ultraviolet light in sunlight, so it has a light blue color. In 1903, the jeweler Henry opened the "noble" rough, honed into 6 pears, 5 ovals and 11 smaller round diamonds, weighing from 69.7 to less than 1 carat. The total weight is 37.5% of the original stone.
